Carissa / Karissa
My baby girl is due in 3 weeks. I've settled on the name Karissa, but dh isn't on board with it yet!! >:(
1. Which spelling do you guys prefer: Carissa or Karissa
2. Thoughts on the name overall?
3. Better middle name?: Marie, Mae, Ann, Claire, Jane
3. Any similar names that I can switch to if dh doesn't come around?
Thanks!

Re: Carissa / Karissa
So pretty. It first got on my list in the French form, Carisse, which is easier to find non-"filler" middles for.

Re: Carissa / Karissa
I love this name! "Grace" is such a lovely meaning, and the name will definitely age well on your daughter. I'm in the minority, I guess: I prefer the K spelling because it looks more modern and to me seems to make more sense. That probably sounds weird, but I just think "Karissa" looks right. Personally, I have known only two women by this name (one Charissa and one Karisa with just one S), so I don't think your daughter will be one of 25 Karissas in her graduating class. In short: beautiful name, I like the K spelling. :)
Good luck with your husband!

Re: Carissa / Karissa
I love Carissa, prefer it with a C. I think it is really feminine, I love the meaning and I just think it is beautiful. Carissa Mae is my favourite out of your choices, Carissa Jane is lovely too. For alternate names to Carissa, how about Corinna, Carina, Cressida, Karima?
