    Re: Edison?

Hi! I think that Edison is a very handsome name!

Some names you may like for Edison's brother:

    Archer
    Bennett
    Donovan (two N endings, though)
    Grant
    Leland
    Reed/Reid
    Shepherd
    Tate
    Vaughn

I tried to avoid names ending in S. :-) I'm really sorry if I repeated names I listed last night!

    Take care!

I agree with jill, Edison is such a handsome name, and great namesake too!

I feel like you're right, Edison will age a bit better than Jamie (though I know two adult Jamies who suit their names to a T)

I realize this isn't on your list, but my personal preference would be James Edison . . . I like the nn Jamie better than Eddie but again, that just personal preference

Thanks jill and maj! Jill, do you think Edison and Jamie would match as a twinset? Also, I love Shepherd!

I like it a lot... definitely very different, without being weird!

    Re: Edison?

My niece's name would have been Edison if she had been a boy. They choose it because it was a family name. I like the name and think it fits in with the surname trend but I wouldn't consider it "trendy" at all. The nn Eddie is cute!

My nephew's name is Gustaf (spelling? I can't believe I don't know how to spell my nephew's name!) nn Gus. They would have had Gus and Ed, not the best sib-set in my opinion. Glad she was a girl!
