    another question!!

Okay! 2 weeks to go! The name I love is Ronan, but too close to Bronwen, my daughters name. The name my hubby really wants is Ari. I like it too.
We were going to do Ari Ronan, but his name would be Ari R. Lastname. Not good!
Another name we tossed around was Elliot
My mom suggested we name him Ronan Elliot, and call him R.E. Too confusing/weird. Any thoughts??
    So ....we need help!!!

    Re: another question!!

Elliot Ronan is very sweet! With a sister named Bronwen I'd avoid names that are "N" heavy or end in "n" (though a name like Killian or Sean could work because it's a different number of syllables. Killian and Bronwen sound nice together). Rowan is similar to Ronan but is less "n" heavy if that appeals to you. Some other ideas:

    Liam
    Tavish
    Eamon
    Asher
    Oliver
    Shane
    Noah
    Elijah/Elias nn Eli
    Riordan
    Malcolm
    Finley
    Ezra
    Alec
    Garret
    Rhys
    Isaac
    Cormac
    Dermot
    Davis
    Leo

Also, Ari could be a nn for Arthur, Arlo, Archer, Archibald, Arden, Arnold, or Artis.

Oh! and Ari means lion in Hebrew, and Leo means lion in Latin. So it could be a good alternative. It has the same short two-syllable vowel heavy sound and is masculine but still cute.

    Hope that helps!

Great thoughts! But can I name him Ronan Elliot, and call him R.E. ?
And do you have any middle name suggestions for Ari if we use it? Feedback is helping!
