    I like either Elliot or Elliott - Elliot is more popular in spelling so there's less of a hassle for you and your son, but Elliott looks more balanced and more masculine.

    I like Elliott best - it's an easy correction to make in the case that it is misspelt

    Eliot just looks very feminine to my eye and Eliott is almost 'trying too hard'

    Elliot(t) Ronan is a wonderful name, really lovely.

    Elliott, for some reason it just looks "right" to me as oposed to the other spellings.

    I like Elliott, but it gets always misspelled anyway. So why not going with the tradition? It's one less aggravation in one's life.
