Re: Compiling list of names for potential baby girl :)

Luca: My son's name, so definitely a boy's name to me :)
Lucy: Really cute! I would use it as a nn but I think it can stand alone as well.
Sofia: Love Sofia, even though it's quite popular.
Adelle: Wonderful, underused name (prefer the Adele spelling)
Olive (Olivia): I'm an adult Olivia, and while I've mostly loved my name throughout my life, even I'm growing tired of hearing it! Olive is a great alternative. I think beautiful Lydia has a very similar sound as well.
Cleo / Clio: Lovely! A fresh alternative to Chloe.
    Juliet/Juliette: Love Juliet.
Amelia: I prefer Adelia but think Amelia is great too.
Alijah: Seems out of place on your list! Definitely like many of your other choices more.
Amelie: Sweet little nameI'd pick this over Amelia (but I'm a little obsessed w/ French names for girls at the moment!)
Jada: Not my favorite from your list.

    :)

Re: Compiling list of names for potential baby girl :)

Thanks so much for the responses...the suggestions...and your opinions !

I love Sofia and Olivia nn Olive, but due to the popularity I am leaning away from them.

I do love Adelle/ Adele and it is a family name so it definitely high on my list.

Also, I LOVE the name Livia nn Liv...but I talked it over and the other half doesn't like anything with a V... :( have to let it go ... maybe I can change his mind ... we have some time ...

So far, Juliet/Juliette, Adelle/Adele, and Lucy are the ones that we agree on...but I am still searching. There are so many amazing names out there!

Is the baby going to have Spanish grandparents? If so they can use the Spanish variant, or you can make the Spanish variant the official name.

    Adela
    Clara
    Daniela
    Gabriela
    Natalia
    Adriana
    Beatriz/Beatrice
    Camila
    Carolina
    Carlota
    Claudia
    Elena
    Eloise/Eloisa
    Estela
    Isadora
    Josephine/Josefina
    Julia
    Lorena
    Mariana
    Rosa
    Sara/Sarita
Sylvia - I think with the nn Sylvie it has all the charm of Sophia/Sophie
Susannah/Susana. Someone suggested the nn Sunny which I think is adorable.
