    Ditto the other ladies. I pronounce Elisa "Ah-LEE-sah" and Eliza "Ee-LIE-zuh". Totally different.

    Yeah, I'm the same as everyone else.. "eh-LEE-sa" vs "eh-LIE-zuh". They're both gorgeous, though I prefer Eliza by a small margin!

    I'm an Eliza and no, completely different! :) Although when pronouncing my name in Spanish, it sounds the same.

    Thanks for the clarification esp. to Wagnerem ,Elisa may be the spanish version of Eliza then.Thanks to all who replied.
