    Just a question, why do you pronounce Lucia, Loo-sha? In Spanish it would be Loo-si-ah (or Loo-thi-ah in Spain). With the Paloma next to it, it looks like it should be pronounced the Spanish way.

    Wow..there are some really great suggestions here and thanks for the input!

    I really love the name Dante, but unfortunately my husband does not.

    As for the question regarding my daughter's name, My husband and I simply loved the pronunciation we chose, more than the Spanish or Italian pronunciation.

    If you like unusual names, you might like Suero, a male Spanish medieval name.
