Re: WDYT of Brynn Leigh as double first name???

Thanks everybody! I don't think my question was totally clear, but then again maybe it was, and I just didn't get the answer I was hoping for! ;-). I just came across the name Brynna, which got me thinking of an old favorite of mine that I had kind of forgotten about - Brinlie. I think it sounds so pretty, but I can't figure out how it should be spelled. Then sice we have a close relative with the name Leigh, I thought maybe Brynn Leigh might work as a double first. (I don't mind that it ends up sounding like brynnleigh, since I think it sounds so pretty. I love the name Brynn, but it feels too short on its own - I think it makes an addorable nn though. :-)
I don't know if any of that even made any sence...

Thanks so much for the feedback!!!

I'd personally go with the traditional Brinley spelling (the others look yooneek to me). I actually know of a young Brinley (I believe she was named for her cousins, Bradley and Brittany), and this is how she spells her name.

    Good luck! :-)

That's interesting that the Brinley you know was named after a Bradley and Brittany. One of my hubby's very favorite names is Brittany Lynn, and he has also mentiond the name Brad - maybe that's why he likes Brinley/Brynn Leigh so much! :-). I also wasn't sure what the "traditional" spelling was, so thanks for the info! :-)

Again, thanks to all of you for the input!
We are not pregnant yet, so we still have plenty of time to decide on a name. We, or I should say I, will probably go through many favorites before we actually have a baby to name! ;-)

I love Brynnleigh!!! I was thinking of it for our new baby. My name is Jana-leigh(but i go by Jana) so i really like the idea having "leigh" in a name. I've been looking into any name that ends with "ly" so i can change the spelling to "leigh". Good luck naming your little one! It's not and easy task! This is our 3rd.
