Re: Is the name Darwin usable?

I like Darwin. I associate it with Charles Darwin (obviously), the Darwin Awards (not so good) and Darwin, NT (a city in Australia). I would definitely use it as a mn over a fn though.

I agree with Jill, that if you wanted to honor the late great Charles Darwin, go with Charles. Im a very scienetific person, so there is a VERY large chance that i over think and know to much for my own good bout the Darwin association, but just in case:) I have always thought Charles to be a good, classic name. Charlie is a cute nn, and the name ages well all in all. Since i dont think i said it before, and sorry i ranted. Good Luck! :)

In university I had a friend named darwin. I like the name. He never got teased or had any trouble because of his name.

Thanks Jill, I really like this suggestion. So would Charles Jeffrey or Jeffrey Charles sound better? But maybe using Charles will bring less bad connections for people. I really like this option :) Thank you
