    Bronwen or Bronwyn?

I prefer the spelling Bronwen, but have noticed many people seem to prefer Bronwyn for a girl (putting the Welsh traditional usage aside). I would use Win/Wyn as a nickname sometimes. With that in mind, which spelling do you think is best?

Bronwen. The -wyn ending is masculine. Bronwyn on a girl is like Josephine on a boy.

Bronwyn. I grew up with a bronwyn so to me it just looks like the correct spelling. Good luck!
