I would love to know what you think
I'm expecting a girl after 3 boys in a row. I've been trying to find a name for her since the day I found out she was a girl. I've narrowed it down to 2 names that I love. Please let me know which one you like better...
1. Mila ( need a middle name...any suggestions?!)
2. Athena Scarlett
Her last name will be Cameron. :)

Re: I would love to know what you think
1. Mila ( need a middle name...any suggestions?!)- I'm not really a fan of Mila but some names I think would work well in as the mn are (and I think that a long mn would flow better with short and simple Mila):
Mila Lorraine (actually a bit 'L' heavy when I say it out loud)
Mila Justine
Mila Josephine
Mila Evangeline
Mila Clementine
Mila Isabelle
Mila Elizabeth
2. Athena Scarlett- i like the Greek goddess reference but think Athena would be better placed in the mn slot. There's something about just straight out Athena that puts me off a little.... On the up side, I love Scarlett. Would you consider reversing the name and using Scarlett Athena?
Some other suggestions just in case:
Athena Louise
Athena Lilia
Athena Jessamine- a bit of a mouthful, whoops!
Athena Carley
Athena Rachel
Athena Marie
Athena Christelle
Athena Estelle
Hope i helped and good luck:)

Re: I would love to know what you think
I think Mila is ok, but I love Nila! I don't know what it is. I also think Athena is great, but it is a very full and powerful name, not to be chosen at whim, in my opinion. So this is like flipping a coin? Or do you love Athena, but also have in mind something more realistic, which blends better with the brothers, like Mila? I like simple names best myself, so Mila wins it for me. Goddesses are great for reference, but that's just not humble enough for me. It's not just Greek, it's Greece in person - and your other children don't have Greek names.
I would think on that a while. Athena would be awesome, but as a choice, it's also kind of intimidating. I've given my input, feel free not to agree with my assessment. :) I think Mila is better.
Do you like any other names? Are these names you had considered during your other pregnancies, or is this what you've narrowed it down to? I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions and help to figure out the ideal combo. I think Mila, Athena, and Scarlett don't really help me figure out what kind of names you like, as they seem 3 very different styles of name, while they all convey some sense of strength, the also put out different attitudes.

I really like Athena...and I think it would work well with the names of your boys.

I love the name Athena Scarlett, but I think Mila (or the other suggestion of Nila), works better with your boy's names, and I like it as well!

Re: I would love to know what you think
I think Athena is a great name, but it doesn't fit with your boy's names at all. Mila is a better match, and a pretty name as well, though I prefer it as a nickname for Emilia/Amelia or Camila.
Mila Josephine
Mila Catherine
Mila Coralie
Mila Beatrice
Mila Rosalind
Mila Juliet
Mila Charlotte
Mila Caroline
Mila Bridgetcordelia ~ jessamine ~ alice ~ louisa ~ maeve ~ julia ~ eloise ~ fiona ~ genevieve
matthias ~ william ~ henry ~ finn ~ benjamin ~ frederick ~ leander

I, too, think that Mila works better with your children's names. :-)
Best wishes to you!
