    Re: Josephine or Ruby?

I love Sabine too! On my list... Sabine, Willow and Amelie go together well.

My favourite of your two choices is Ruby. It is getting popular, almost like the new 'Lily' but I have two very good friends named Ruby and they are social butterflies!

    Re: Josephine or Ruby?

I love Sabine, so sorry it was vetoed.

Ruby's popularity has peaked and now fading out of the naming picture, Josephine is a classic that is still popular, Kaye old fashioned but sorry to say a tad boring, Anne is lovely and definitely a keeper.

Colette must be the French alternative to Sabine, but I don't think it has the pizzazz of Sabine.

Faye is a lovely alternative to Kaye

    Combo

    Daphne Faye

Margaret Anne, nn Greta, Maggie, Margot, Marguerite

Josephine Frances there will be a big band of followers for this combo. I like the nn of Coco. However, I would never use either name.

If you liked Sabine do you like

    Anneliese
    Madeline
    Liesel
    Brigitte, Bridget, Brigid?
    Geneveive
    Anastasia
    Helena
    Juliet

If you want to keep Kaye then Stella Kaye would make a good fit.
