We've narrowed it down to two.....

So, many thanks to all of you who've helped thus far. We were able to narrow our long list down to two names. So, for your consideration (with last name this time):

    Nina Frances Chisholm
    or
    Scarlett Rae Chisholm

Thanks again! We look forward to hearing which is the favorite.

Nina Frances Chisholm because I love Nina Chisholm more than Scarlett Chisholm.

Nina... besides the fact that I absolutely adore this name, Melanie Chisholm (from the Spice Girls) had a baby girl a few months ago and named her Scarlet (with one 't'). I don't know how many people would make this connection but it clicked immediately for me for some reason... which is odd because I don't like the Spice Girls, never followed any of them, and don't even live in the UK, which is where I feel they are more talked about.

Another vote for Nina Frances! I do have a bit of hard time saying the Frances Chisholm end of the name, but I, too, love the sound of Nina Chisholm. I do love Scarlett and like how Rae saves every name from being two syllables long, but I think that Nina Chisholm sounds lighter, fresher, and cheerier than Scarlett Chisholm.

(I love Nina, and started liking it after I first saw "Father of the Bride" with Diane Keaton as Nina Banks.) :-)

    Good luck! :-)

I started loving the name Nina because of Diane Keaton's character too!

    Scarlett Rae

It is not that I don't like Nina it is just that I love the Scarlett Rae Chisholm combo. It is very spunky and yet feminine.

Another vote for Nina Frances. I like your other choice, but agree that with your surname Nina works much better.
