Re: Rate these names for girls

    Adelaine - 2. I prefer Adeline or Adelaide ...
Amalee - 1. The correct spelling is Amelie.
    Amethyst - 4
    Amity - 4
    Braelynn - 1
    Caroline - 4
    Clemence nn Cleo - 4
    Divinity - 1
Ephiphany nn Ephie - 1. Euphemia or Josephine can both make the nn Effy, though.
Esmae - 1. This raises to 5 if spelt Esme.
Effie - 5, although I feel it should be short for something.
Enid - 3 ... I think Edith nn Edie is nicer, personally.
    Enya - 2
    Eulalie nn Lalie - 4
    Emmeline nn Emme - 5
    Hazel - 5
    Idelle - 1
    Jubilee - 1
    Laura - 2
    Laurel nn Laura - 3
Lillyanna - 2, raises to 5 if spelt Liliana.
    Maeve - 5
    Maevis - 1
    Myrtice - 1
    Maegan - 2
    Miranda - 4
Naoma - how is this pronounced? Do you mean Naomi, or Naomh (neev)?
    Oakley - 1
    Paloma - 5
    Peridot - 1
    Rose - 5
    Roisin (pronounced Ro-sheen) - 5
    Reverie - 1
    Remember - 1
    Tacey - 1
Tansy - 3, as a nn for Anastasia.
Victory - 1. How about Victoria, or the French version Victoire?
    Willow - 3
    Wisdom - 1.

    Good luck!

Re: Rate these names for girls

Fun! And I'm sorry for saying extra things about each name... My mind skipped to overdrive somehow, and I had something to say about all of them... You can disregard it if you like! ^^

Adelaine - 1, but spell it Adeline and it becomes a 3
    Amalee - 1, as Amelie, it's a 4
Amethyst - 3, too complex for me, I'd just use Violet/Viola, the colour of the Amethyst
Amity - 4, would have been 5 if it wasn't so cutsie...
Braelynn - 1, no matter how you spell it...
    Caroline - 2, it's classic, but boring-classic
Clemence nn Cleo - 5, I love it, but wouldn't use Cleo as nickname
Divinity - 1, I think of this as a failed attempt at being spiritual...
Ephiphany nn Ephie - 1, see Divinity
Esmae - 2, but 5 if spelled Esme
    Effie - 2, nickname only
Enid - 3, old lady charm, just not as charming as the alternatives. I think it may grow on me though.
Enya - 4, I like it! It's meaning too, so I'm guessing it's one I'll warm more up to...
Eulalie nn Lalie - 5, old lady charm with added cuteness, perfect in my book!
Emmeline nn Emme - 3, cute, but too popular/like all the popular names
Hazel - 2, I just never liked it, but I know many do... I think it's the sound I don't like...
Idelle - 2, has potential, but plain Ida or Elle is much better!
Jubilee - 4, this is a GP of mine, along with Honey ^^ It's a mismatch with my other favs, though...
Laura - 3, not my style
Laurel nn Laura - 4, like Laurel as a nature name, not Laura as a nickname, too popular/ordinary to be a 5 for me
    Lillyanna - 2, spell it Liliana and it's a 3, use Emiliana and it's a 5
    Maeve - 5, she's a beauty!
Maevis - 1, unnecessary when Maeve is so pretty
Myrtice - 1, I think Myrtle has charm enough for a 4, but this one sounds terrible to my ears
Maegan - 2, I've always liked Megan, but she's too popular to be more than a 4, so this one get's a 2 for not being spelled right
Miranda - 4, she's charming, but not for me
Naoma - 2, I like the sound, but it looks like a butchered Naomi, which I don't like
Oakley - 1, boy name to me...
Paloma - 4, I love her, but the sound is dreary...
Peridot - 1, see Amethyst, and this one doesn't have a pleasing sound either...
Rose - 4, excellent first name, but I prefer Rosamund as a full name
Roisin (pronounced Ro-sheen) - 5, I only recently warmed up to her, but now I'm desperate to use her somewhere!
Reverie - 3, I'm actually all neutral on this one! A bit hard to pronounce, but otherwise nothing wrong with her, she's just not my style...
Remember - 5, another GP of mine, this one more in tune with my other favs, sound wise than Jubilee...
Tacey - 1, tacky and an eternal nickname
    Tansy - 1, see Tacey
Victory - 4, I kind of like this one! More of a statement than Victoria or Victor
Willow - 4, I always loved her, but now she's too popular... A bit like Laurel
Wisdom - 1, where Victory is cute, Wisdom is unappealing and perhaps a bit tacky
Åshild / Norwegian / 24 / Name Collector / Work: Daycare and the Library / Love to bake, read and listen to music

    Emerence + Eulalie + Everild + Flora + Helena + Leonor + Louisa + Nimue + Ophelia + Rosalind
