Three options
What are your thoughts on the following names?
Alice Cecilia - is it okay for the last letter sound of the first name to run together with the first letter sound of the middle name?
Eliza Jane - yes, this is from Little House on the Prairie, but perhaps it's still okay to use?
Lydia Ruth - is Ruth too plain for the beautiful Lydia?

Re: Three options
Alice Cecilia - there's a little bit of overlap, but not so much that it becomes distracting. I like Alice a lot - I'd probably use it if I didn't already have a cousin Alice - and you won't use the middle name all the time
Eliza Jane -frankly, I forgot that there was an Eliza in Little House at all. She's such a minor character that I don't think most people would make the connection.
Lydia Ruth - I like your other options better. It's not that they don't go together, but I don't particularly care for the set.

Re: Three options
Alice Cecilia: I love Alice and Cecilia, but not together due to the ssss sounds that cancel each other out. (But that's just me!) :-)
Eliza Jane: Eliza Jane is one of my favorite combinations in the world, and to me, the Little House connection adds to its charm. :-)
Lydia Ruth: I love Lydia, and although Ruth is older sounding, I still like it with Lydia.
From your list, I'm voting for Eliza Jane, with Lydia Ruth in second place.
Best wishes to you! :-)

Re: Three options
I believe Eliza Jane is fine, particularly if you're just going to use Eliza most of the time.
It's funny I put because the other two each have contrast of two types of names: 'sweet and simple' (and for me not considered plain) and 'lacy and lissome'. So Alice Ruth and Lydia Cecilia go better for me than Alice Cecilia and Lydia Ruth because both name fit into the same type and the rhythm.

Re: Three options
It is so frustrating! I wrote a long post and it disappeared!
Okay, Alice is one of my very faves, but I love it with:
Alice Catherine/Katherine
Alice Cordelia
Alice Eleanor - Alice means truth, Eleanor means light
Eliza Jane is one of my fave name combos
Love:
Lydia Celeste
Lydia Claire
Lydia Claudine
Lydia Elaine
Lydia Honor
Lydia Hope
Lydia Iris
Lydia June
Lydia Kaye
Lydia Maude
Lydia Odette
Lydia Olive
Lydia Plum
Lydia Prudence

Re: Three options
Alice Cecilia - they are both beautiful, but I'm afraid they do, in my opinion, run together too much ...
Eliza Jane - I didn't even think of Little House on the Prairie, and I think it's fine, as Jane is a popular mn. If you're worried you could always go with Elizabeth Jane, but I prefer the flow of Eliza Jane ... (actually, it reminded my of Pride and Prejudice).
Lydia Ruth - I don't think Ruth is plain at all! It is a lovely classic, and Lydia gives it that oomph it needs.
So I'm voting for Lydia Ruth!
I like the sound of Eliza Miriam, and Susan gave a lot of beautiful suggestions.
Good luck!

Re: Three options
I think Eliza Jane it a stunning name, and it is my favorite of the three. My next would be Lydia Ruth which I think goes together wonderfully. The beautiful first name and the strong mn set each other off beautifully.
I think that Alice and Cecilia are too similar to use together, after all, all of the letters in Alice are in Cecilia. However, both are great names.
