    Did your grandfather ever go by Hal? If so, what do you think of the name Halston? Halston Eric has a nice flow . . .

    The physical description that you predict for your son looks like a Finn to me. I think Finnias would be a good formal name. It flows better with the middle names than Finn does by itself, and Finn would be the perfect nn.

    Since it doesn't seem like you want to use the name Harold as a first name- could you use your grandfather's middle or last name as your son's first name?
