Second eldest child. Delia is tall and slim like Leni, but has straight long blonde hair and blue eyes. She loves flower arranging and embroidery, and hates anything that will get her clothes dirty. She is sensible and kind, and tries to keep her younger siblings in check. Her favourite siblings are Penny and Angel. Her favourite food is buttered crumpets. Her favourite place is the palace rose gardens.

Third oldest - first-born son. Mattie is tall for his age, and is the spitting image of Leni. However, he prefers the library to the outdoors, and is the most educated of the children. He is quiet and rational, and is distant from his younger siblings because of his outwardly cold demeanor, even though he is fiercely protective of his family, and keeps an eye on all the younger children, especially Teddy, who is his favourite. His favourite food is dark chocolate cake. His favourite place is the palace library.

Fourth oldest. Alex is quite tall, and has only just started his growth spurts. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes, and is more tanned than his older siblings. He is friendly with the servants and the palace guards and likes training with them. His favourite sibling, though he would hate to admit it, is Toby. His favourite food is anything spicy. His favourite place is the guardroom and barracks.

Fifth oldest. Toby has short brown-red hair and blue-grey eyes. He is the prankster of the family, and is usually found in some kind of trouble. He also likes inventing toys and other things he can use in his pranks. He loves playing tricks on the staff as well as his younger sisters. His favourite sibling is Alex. His favourite food is sugar doughnuts. His favourite place is the High Tower, where he has his study/workroom.

Sixth and seventh oldest - twins. Kali and Chess both have wavy ginger hair and green eyes. They are very similar in both looks and personalities - both love wildlife, and enjoy each others company the most. However, there are some differences. Kali has a much quicker temper than Chess, and it often falls to Mattie and Chess to calm her down. Kali has slightly more pronounced dimples than Chess when she smiles. Kali's favourite food is blueberry muffins. Her favourite place is the Royal Forest. On the other hand, Chess is more outgoing than Kali, and has an easier temper. Her favourite food is strawberries and meringues. Her favourite place is the Royal Forest. Their favourite sibling is Mattie.

Penny loves singing and dancing, and especially likes visiting the town to see the festivals, as well as perform in them. Her favourite sibling is Ophelia. Her favourite food is toast and raspberry jam. Her favourite place is the town square.

Ninth oldest. Teddy is petite, with brown curly hair and brown eyes. He adores his older brother Alex, and loves to follow him around. He also usually gets dragged into Toby's pranks, and usually winds up in trouble. When left to his own devices, he likes to sit in the treehouse just outside the library window, although he is slightly wary of Mattie - who always keeps an eye out for him from a distance. His favourite food is pancakes with chocolate sauce. His favourite place is the treehouse.

Sally is the tomboy of the family - she trails around after Alex and Teddy, and loves watching Alex train with the guards, occasionally joining in with archery practice, which she is extremely talented at. She wants to be a ranger, not a princess, and often slips off on her own, looking for adventures and damsels in distress. Her favourite siblings are Alex and Teddy. Her favourite food is rhubarb pie. Her favourite place is the guardroom and archery range.

Twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth oldest - triplets. The boys are always cheerful and laughing, although if one of the gets hurt and starts crying, they all start crying. Barney is the leader, and always the first to try something or do something.
