Joel, Ianthe and..(unusual girls name pls!) **DUE 1 WEEK!!!

    ok.
I have 2 children, Joel and Ianthe (pro. eye-ann-thee in case u didn't know!), and am due to have my third a week today (definitely-I'm having elec c-sec).
We've picked Tristan William for a boy.

Surname is Ross, not thought of a girls' middle name.

Now can't decide on a girls name! I have a few ideas but still undecided and open to suggestions! My list so far is:

Iris (LOVE IT but doesn't sound great with Ross-whaddya think?)
    Beatrice
    Sapphire
    Seraphina/ Seraphine (mouthful with Ianthe?)
Ophelia (LOVE IT! But worried about the 'feel ya' jokes!

    Poss. middle names:

    Emmie
    Emily
    sage
    Rae
    Thea (or first name?)
    Fay
    Elise
    Trista (but meaning is 'sad'!)

Have you any further suggestions for first names? I like unusual, pretty, flowery, literary, arty, fairy-type names!!!!

Re: Joel, Ianthe and..(unusual girls name pls!) **DUE 1 WEEK!!!

Iris (LOVE IT but doesn't sound great with Ross-whaddya think?) Iris Ross is a little too S heavy for me...What about Ivy? Ivy Sapphire Ross?
Beatrice - I'll let others comment on this one because some people here really like this one...and I really don't...sorry :/
Sapphire - not a fan of this up front...works for the middle, tho
Seraphina/ Seraphine (mouthful with Ianthe?) - but OH so pretty!
Ophelia (LOVE IT! But worried about the 'feel ya' jokes! - Its also a lot of name for a little one...

    How about...

    Amelia (sounds like Ophelia)
    Delia (ditto)
    Cordelia (LOVE IT!)
Camellia (a flower and it sounds like Ophelia!) Camellia Fay Ross sounds good...
Calla - well liked here at nameberry :)
    Zinnia - hmm...fun!
Lavendar - fun and will make a great statement
    Amandine - gorgeous!
Hazel - loving this one! Hazel Emily Ross
Athena Sage Ross - sounds fantastic!
Phoebe Thea Ross - Goddness name as well as Athena (literary! :))

These names I "stole" from the Flowery Fairy Names post :)
Celestina Cora Birch was my Flowery Fairy name...here's that post
    http://nameberry.com/nametalk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1479

    Rosalina Sage Ross
    Zenobiah Elise Ross
    Jonnesha Sage Ross
    Aisha Emmie Ross
    Aster Fay Ross
Rubina (nn Ruby...so cute) Rubina Emily Ross
Maisy (falling in love with this name!) Maisy Thea Ross
    Aurelia Sage Ross (LOVE!)
Sapphira (not as harsh as Sapphire) Or Sephira
    Tarryn Emmie Ross
    Serena
    Scarlet
    Coral
    Roselynn

    Poss. middle names:

    Emmie
    Emily
sage - love this in the middle, but if you use a flower name will it be overkill? Calla Sage Ross sounds great, but is it too naturey?
Rae - ____ Rae Ross doesn't work for me
Thea (or first name?) - great in the first spot, too!
Fay - works well in the middle, but not as "fun" as some others :)
Elise - like this name but Elise Ross is S heavy
Trista (but meaning is 'sad'!) - are you pronouncing as Tris-ta or Trees-ta (the spanish pron.)

Have you any further suggestions for first names? I like unusual, pretty, flowery, literary, arty, fairy-type names!!!!

Out of your faves, I like Seraphina the best, and I think it's awesome with Ianthe!

Personally I would stay away from any first or middle name ending in an "s" sound, since it sounds a bit rhymey with Ross. My ideas:

    Seraphina Emily
    Seraphina Elise
    Thea Emily
    Thea Sapphire
    Thea Seraphina

    Good luck!

    That's funny, I already had:
    Aster
Athena ( this was top spot on one particular day!!)
    Aurelia
    Sapphira
Calla (not sure bout this one)
on my list! Great minds think alike-thank you very much for all those suggestions!
I forgot to say, I love Greek mythological names too (perhaps you can see that though!)

I like Amelia, and Phoebe but think they're too used now.

    Arrghh-spoilt for choice!!

Actually, I really like 'Aster', only I would prob spell it 'Asta', which is Greek and means 'Star-like love'!
    Pretty!
