a sister for edward, charles and annabel!
we have twin boys , edward and charles--we call them teddy and charlie.
annabel's nn is anna but we rarely use it...she seems more like an annabel. baby #4 is due in september (a girl)
list:
eleanor
elizabeth (nn eliza)
emma
louisa
beatrice (nn bea)
amelia
olivia
we also love charlotte but think that may be too much with charlie...so could use as a middle name
middle names:
elizabeth
charlotte
katherine
clare
thoughts!?!?

Re: a sister for edward, charles and annabel!
Eleanor - Love it! Absolutely gorgeous name, with great nickname options & goes great with your other kids!
Elizabeth (nn eliza) - Alright. I really can't get excited over Elizabeth. I'd prefer Eliza on its own.
Emma - Sweet name but very common.
Louisa - Quite pretty. Eloise is also nice & would fit the sibset.
Beatrice (nn Bea) - Very nice.
Amelia - Lovely but perhaps too close to Annabel.
Olivia - Nice but extremely overused. What about Olive?
I agree Charlotte is to close to Charlie & that it would make a lovely middle name.
Eleanor Charlotte - would be absolutely gorgeous!
Beatrice Claire
Amelia CatherineEliza + Beatrix + Constance + Romilly + Clementine + Freya + Pearl + Agnes + Betty + Margo
Felix + Ivo + Calloway + Walter + Linus + Otto + August + Hugo + Zebedee + Rollo + Phineas

Re: a sister for edward, charles and annabel!
eleanor: I love Eleanor, but I personally wouldn't use an El name with a little Annabel. I know I'd accidentally call out "Annabel and Elabel!" :-)
elizabeth (nn eliza): I LOVE Eliza and Elizabeth, but it's the El issue for me again.
emma: I do love Emma, but it's the #1 name in the country. What about Emmeline?
louisa: I love Louisa (and all of these names), and think Louisa Katherine is great!
beatrice (nn bea): I love this name, Beatrix, too, and really like Beatrice Elizabeth.
amelia: I think Amelia is really pretty, and love it with Katherine and Charlotte.
olivia: This one is too popular for me, but it's pretty...
Good luck! :-)

I think your best choices are Eleanor, Eliza, and Louisa. Though I often agree with Jill, I don't see too much of an overlap with the -el sound. I think all these names are lovely with your other children's names. Emma, Elizabeth, Olivia are too popular and even Amelia I would strike for being another A name and also being so close to Emily/Emma/Emmeline etc -- all so hugely popular. I think you should NOT use the lovely Charlotte as a middle name, due to overlap with Charlie

Re: a sister for edward, charles and annabel!
Pam, yeah, that "el" thing is just one of my name hangups. :-) I remember reading about Annette Bening and Warren Beatty naming their daughters Isabel and Ella, and saying them in succession always trips up my tongue.
Naomi, like you said, I personally don't think Eleanor Molner flows very well, but the other names flow nicely with Molner. I absolutely love, love, love your children's names! :-)
