The Story of You! (caf, homeless and young). Part 1/2!

    Dice!: http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/reso...s/dice/six.htm

Your name: (initials are SB, last name: F)

    Your age (roll dice):
    1. 17
    2. 19
    3. 18
    4. 21
    5. 23
    6. 20

    Picture of you:

You are a recovering alcoholic who just lost your house and car. You sleep wherever you can find on the dangerous streets of Detroit, and eat any leftovers you can find. You’re very upset with yourself for not listening to your parents sooner when they warned you. Instead of staying with them and getting help early, you ran away at age 16, and moved in with an older friend named (YOUR CHOICE). Now that you can’t afford rent, she kicked you out in lieu of finding a new dependable roommate, and a few days later, your car got repossessed! To put the icing on the cake of hell, you just learned that you are pregnant.

Do you know who the father is? (roll dice):
    1. Yes, it’s a man you met on a drunken whim.
    2. No, you can’t remember who you were with the night you got hammered.
    3. Yes, it’s your ex who cheated on you and left.
    4. No, there are a few possibilities.
    5. Yes, it’s your ex roommate’s boyfriend!
    6. No, you’ve solicited too many times for alcohol.

    a) If yes, do you contact him? (roll dice):
    1, 5, 3: No!
    4, 2, 6: Yes!

    b) If no, do you want to find out? (roll dice):
    4, 2, 6: No!
    1, 5, 3: Yes!

7 months fly by. Alone and afraid, you desperately search for a home for you and your unborn child to stay protected in. (If you know/contact the father, he wants nothing to do with you or your baby). You decide to keep your child, but raise him/her alone as a young, wonderful, & sober, single mother.

One day, after no luck of finding a home (or decent food), an older woman pulls up next to you in her car. Her name is (OLDER LADY NAME), and she wants to help you, for the sake of your baby. So, you meet her at a nearby diner, where she buys you a healthy meal, and you get to know each other. It turns out, she’s a newly widow, and was never blessed with children. She says that she’s seen you more than once struggling in the alley by her apartment, and once she noticed the baby bump, she realized you were in bad shape. So, she wants to give you a home and treat you like a daughter that she never had. She wants to help you raise the baby, and she’ll help get you back on track of a good life again. (Since you ran away at 16, you never finished high school. She said she’ll pay to help you get a GED and a good job).

A few weeks after you settle into (NAME OF LADY)’s home, you wake up with horrible pains. She tells you that you’re in labor, and she drives you to the nearest hospital. After 13 hours of horrible labor, you give birth to a not-so-healthy baby.

    Roll for gender: Even=boy, Odd=girl.

Before you even get to look at your baby, the doctors take him/her away to try to stabilize your 4lb, 2oz child. Horrified, you and your newly adopted mother cannot stop crying. You continuously blame yourself, and pray to a God that you barely even know.

Thankfully, after (roll dice, multiply by 3) days of care and stabilization, your baby is healthy and ready to be held in your arms. One look into your child’s blue eyes brought tears to yours. You automatically come up with a name:

    Girls First Name: http://nameberry.com/list/193/Coolator-for-Girls-Names

    Baby #1’s Name:
    Newborn Picture:

Two years pass, and you are finally finished with your GED. You find yourself a job as a waitress at the nearest pancake place. It’s not much, but it’s enough to help you get back on your feet. You have helped out your new mom throughout the past couple of years with bills and groceries, but you still feel like you owe her. So every night, you give her half of your tips as an appreciation for her help and support. The other half goes in a piggy bank for your “new house rental” fund. Your child is getting big, and thankfully starting to look like you.

    Child’s Picture at 2 yo:
Part 2 coming soon!! Keep looking out!....
