My Aunt Vicki tells a story about her first husband, who's last name was seriously 'Craps." Apparently she dated him for six months before she told her parents his last name. Finally, after months of them bugging her about it, she said:
"It's Craps, all right? His last name is Craps!"
And my Grandmother looked at her and goes "You've gotta be sh*tting me."

This is a story that's been repeated in my story for the last forty years and it never gets any less funny!

Just heard about a little boy with one of the worst names I've ever heard: Ledgyn... LIKE LEGEND, BUT NOT (not that Legend is even an acceptable name). Just... WHY?!

@jeska ah sorry...I think it might be uk thing. "roger" is like slang for sex. I think it's fairly old and fallen out of common usage except amongst comedians (which is how I know it). No need to feel stupid!

My parents were friends with Richard Head, who went by Dick.

My SIL knows a child whose name is La-a. How on earth do you pronounce it? Ladasha of course! OY!!!!

There is a teacher in my town whose first name is Gay and last name is King.

Also, my grandfather made a great save back in his day. He was an OBGYN and would travel to deliver home births (this was a while back!). Well, he asked the new mother what she was going to name her new BG and she said, "Venereal." Grandpa gave her some education on what the name meant (she thought it was pretty) and the mama, thankfully, changed her mind on a name!

Oh, my friend had relatives named Laverne and Shirley. What makes this super funny--they were her UNCLES!

I went to school with a guy named Michael Hawk, but he went by Mike Hawk, and say it fast, it sounds like My cock. He used to play it up though!

And if we're talking about Alabama politicians, please don't forget Jefferson County Sheriff Randy Christian. That one never fails to make my mama giggle.

Frankly, I find outright funny names to be entertaining. The names *I* consider horrible are, for example, a tween girl I encountered over the weekend named H@rley Lee. Lee-lee? Seriously? How does no one noticed how ridiculous that sounds??
There was an election here in WA many years ago where Norm Dicks was facing off against someone with the last name "Butts". And we've seen those road signs all over town, so it's not hard to make jokes about it! My dad said, "Now if someone's last name had been 'Boobs', then he'd win for sure!" Mom said, "Well, aren't they ALL boobs?" LOL

My friend has a horrible name, we call him Curi or C.J. but his name is Curious Johnson, i laugh every time i remember that's his full name, his fn would be pretty cool imo without the last name just destroying it.
