There's this one french family on my grandmother's side that I just love:
    Henri
    Leonie
    Alma
    Berthe (prn BET)
    Rodolphe
    Laurette
    Yvette
    Alida (prn a-LEE-do)
    Marie-Aimee (prn a-MAY)
    Gilles (prn zhil)

I wish I was French so I could name a girl Marie-Aimee. It sounds so much better with a French accent. Like an updated Marianne.
So...not as whacky as the rest of you, but I still love them!

My maternal grandfather's given name is Enrod - he hates it and has always gone by Joe. His wife, my grandmother, has the middle name of Merline, after her father, who was Merlin - her mother was Norita. On my father's side, one of my great-great-grandmothers was Elva, which I like a lot.

Palmira. It doesn't sound weird here, but believe me, it's the odd one out in my family tree of Paul's and Brian's and Anita's. I'm pretty sure it's off limits though, cause she was like legit crazy or something.
