Sibling names to go with Carmen?

I posted earlier and I think my husband and I have decided to name our first daughter Carmen. The only problem... neither of us can come up with names that would go with Carmen for our future children. I don't want to get too ahead of myself, but I'm worried that my other children won't have names that flow well as a sibling group.

A few things... I know Carmen is a Spanish/Latin name, but I really don't want an international theme, not that that's bad, but I'd prefer to stay away from any themes.

Are there any names that you know of that flow well with Carmen?
We're really looking for a name that for a girl - is pretty but strong
and for boys - is strong and masculine

    Any ideas would be great!

Re: Sibling names to go with Carmen?

    I love Carmen.
Here are some names to go with Carmen (meaning: red)
    Ruby (also means red)
    Scarlett (ditto)
Angelina, Helena, Maddelena, Melina (Melina means yellow) nn Lena
    Estelle, Estella nn Stella
    Bianca (means white)
    Penelope
    Veronica
    Vivian
    Beatrice nn Bea
    Ava (Ava is very popular)
    Iris (means rainbow)
    Lucia (means light) nn Lucy
Rosemary nn Roxie, Rosie, Romy-I love Carmen and Rosie together
    Rosalind, Rosamond nn Rose, Rosie
    Flora!
My faves are Flora, Ruby, Rosie short for Rosemary, Stella, Bianca, and Lena. Those are all great! Maybe you would like Georgia, too. Maybe you would like Tessa.

    You're right, that's a tough one!

    For girls: Sabine, Anya, Delia?

    For boys: Leo, Samuel, Wyatt?

I forgot to put down brother names! Olivegreen's suggestions are wonderful. Also Hugo, Dexter, Rufus, Felix, Andreas, George, Noah, Elias, Basil, Jack, Louis, Miles, Milo, Theo, Enzo, Ansel, and Victor.

I know what you mean about staying away from themes. I'm not big on them myself. My theme is 'they sound good together' lol.

Carmen is a very nice name. I fell in love with the name Carmandy (sp?) from watching What Not to Wear because I liked the choice nn Carmen (:

Any who... Carmen is really open to a lot of names out there, but I understand what you're saying. You wouldn't be putting Elizabeth, Amelia or Jane with it. But, are those really your style? Here are some strong names that might be in and around the style of naming your looking at... maybe not. But, at least they sound good together. That shows hope doesn't it, LOL

Carmen & Seana (both very fem... with a hint of masculinity)
Carmen & Naomi (maybe to international for you?)
Carmen & Sophie (together, it almost makes Carmen look frilly)
Carmen & Derian (equal in femininity)
    Carmen & Shannon
Carmen & Livia ; Liv (both cute on a little girl but will grow nicely. I can picture spunky grandmas, lol)

Those were just some examples... but, I think you'll be just fine coming up with another name that's a perfect fit for her big sister Carmen, you know... in the years to come (:
