Just realised I never reply to this post before, so..

My name is Cynthia Angelina and I always love it. Cynthia is 100% from my father's choice. He stayed silent during my mom's pregnancy and directly called me Cynthia at the hospital just after I was born. He did the same thing to my older brother. My mom knew nothing about it (the names). Crazy? Yeah..

I was born in 1992 and people around me seems never really care about the dated issue. Cynthia really suits me. Although I'm not supporting my father for his self made decision, I have to admit that I love Cynthia a lot more than my mom's choice (Laura). I love mythology, so I'm glad I have a mythological name. Plus, it's after Artemis, the goddess of the moon. I was born in late June. A cancerian, a moonchild. And beside pearl, my birthstone is also moonstone. I kinda like the connections.

Officially, I don't have a middle name. Angelina is added latter (when I was little, but I don't know for sure how old I was at that time) so it does not included on my birth certificate (My parents did not change it). I prefer to use it because my mother gave me that name, while Cynthia is my father's pure decision. I love Angelina. Have no idea why my mom suddenly chose it instead of her original choices, but I'm glad she did. I think (maybe) someday I'll add it legally.
