My names is Jasmine Lee. My mom was is Australia when she was pregnant with me, and she came across a shop called 'Jasmine Cottage.' She fell in love with the name, and called me that. Lee is the name of my mom's best friend. I was going to be Jasmine Marie, but my last name starts with an 'M', and it just didn't have the same flow as Jasmine Lee. I like that my name has a special meaning, and that I wasn't just 'named.' I do like my name, but I feel its a bit plain at times. I have a LOT of middle names, ranging from Jaz to Jas-man-ly. Lame, I know.

My name sometimes gets misspelled, but in more 'unusual' ways like Jazmin, Jazmine, Jazzmine, Jazmyn and Jazzmyne.

My mom was going to spell it Jazmine, but I prefer Jasmine.

It's Rose Elizabeth, and I've never liked it one bit. I hate that everyone knows what it means when they first see it, because it's simply a flower name. Parents loved the first name, and the middle name (which I also hate because it's filler) is after my grandmother. It's old-fashioned and frilly, as well, and I'm the opposite. And I hate the nickname Rosie, which I was called up until age 12 (never liked it, but only then did I get the guts to say I hated it.)

I guess the good thing about it is that it sounds serious and is easy to spell and never misheard, but I still hate it.

My name is Ella Olivia Isabelle three of the most popular names of last year though I am 18. I love Ella though it is so classic and sweet no wonder there were so many baby Ella's last year. Olivia was chosen because I was born on ANZAC day and it is a symbol of Peace and Isabelle is my sisters name who was still born three years before I was born.

My name is Lincoln Elizabeth and I absolutely love it! There's no one around me named Lincoln, and I constantly get compliments on it. There really is no story behind my name, other than that my mom is a teacher and didn't want to give me a name that any of her students had. It suits me perfectly and I couldn't imagine being named anything else.

My name is Melody Babette Anna, and although I adore Melody it is very similar to Melanie which is a popular name in my generation. My mother was a fan of using variants of names that honoured family, Babette for Elizabeth and Anna for Anne which are okay names but I vastly prefer the originals.

Its Hannah Louise. My first name was found when my mum & dad went on holiday to Hanna in Alberta, Canada & instantly fell in love with the name Hannah. My middle name is after my great nan Louisa.

Mine is Alissa Lianne. When I was younger, my name was somewhat popular, but thankfully not overly so. I knew a couple other Alyssa's, but they all spelled it with a Y rather than an I. Luckily I never had to go by Alissa T. because the other Alyssa in my class was nicknamed "Little Alyssa". I have never met anyone who spelled Alyssa with an I though, so people ALWAYS misspell it. Even when I tell them how to spell it, they still get it wrong. That really frustrated me growing up, so when I moved in the 5th grade, I told everybody at my new school that my name was Ali. Which got even more ridiculous spellings. Everyone still calls me Ali, which I'm fine with. It's harder to mispronounce than Alissa. Believe it or not, I got A-lee-suh, A-liss-ee-a, and even Alice pronunciations. I still don't understand why it's so difficult to pronounce. But Ali is an easier name. Unfortunately, I get so many variations on spelling, that I don't even try to correct people anymore. I've gotten Aly, Allie, Alli, Ally, and the occasional Hallie. The spelling has got to the point where it really doesn't even bother me anymore. The thing that bothers me is that everyone assumes my name is Alison. Acquaintances, teachers, and even friends call me Alison sometimes. People are always shocked to find out my name is really Alissa.

My middle name is a combination of my mom's middle name (Ann) and my aunt's middle name (Lee). I'm glad I didn't get stuck with plain old Ann or Lee, and I think Lianne looks really pretty. The only thing I don't like is that when it's said out loud it sounds kind of like a hillbilly name.

Overall, I love the way my name looks written down, Alissa Lianne. But it's so complicated to say and spell correctly that it's really a hassle. And I can never find personalized name things that have my name spelled right

Ellen Juyon.

I was almost an Ashley (pretty glad I'm not!), and then almost a Noelle/Noel because I was born on Christmas day! My parents stuck with Ellen, though. When I was younger, I didn't like my name because for some reason, everyone would call me Helen, Emily, or Eileen. I guess even just twenty-some years ago, my name was a lot less popular. I liked it more as I got older, especially since I know the meaning is "light."

Juyon is my Korean name (pronounced joo-yuhn). The phonetic name is pretty common in Korea, but it's made up of less common Chinese characters. In my name, "Ju" means "pillar" and "Yon" means "beauty."

Basically, I'm a beautiful pillar of light. :P

My name is Rachel. I actually do NOT have a middle name. My dad's mom doesn't have a middle name either. I like Rachel; though there are a lot of Rache/ael my age (I'm 21). It is from the bible so I can't complain too much .
