Sibling for Samantha, Sydney & Shay

    Open to suggestions!
    We don't know the gender
(Sydney is a girl and Shay is a boy)
I feel like girl name should be longer, with potential for a nickname, boy name should be short.
We are NOT tied to the name starting with "s" (though a lot of people have voiced their opinion that it MUST be an "s" name!)
Irish origin is a plus but not a requirement.

Two names beginning with the same letter is a COINCIDENCE. Three or more names sharing the same initial is a PATTERN. If you find an "S" name you love, I would stick with that letter. I wouldn't want your fourth child to feel like the odd one out. If another "S" name doesn't grab you then move on. Here are some suggestions.

Sabrina - Brina or Bree for a cute NN
    Susannah - Suki, Susie.
    Suzanna - Zanna? Z
    Saffron
    Sapphira or Sapphire
    Sybilla - Billie
    Selena - Lena
    Sylvia

As far as very Irish girls names, I like Sinead, Sorcha, and Saoirse, especially the first and last, but I kind of feel like they come slamming out of left field compared to Top Hundred Sydney and Samantha.

Not Irish, but Stella, Scarlett, and Sophia all seem pretty well in keeping? Femme, well-known.

    Boys
Sebastian - long, but could be Seb or Baz. Balances Samantha well I think?
    Stephen
    Saul
    Silas
    Sterling
    Sage
    Stone
    Slate
    Seth
Santiago - Tiago is cool. But Santiago is long...

I like Shane and Seamus, but not with a Shay.

Some of my favourite S names for girls include Sabrina, Sabina, Sophie, Savannah, Sadie, Sarah, Sally and Stella. Siobhan could also be a good option for you.

If you can't find an S name you LOVE, then perhaps a name that starts with the same sound - Cecelia, Celeste, Cynthia etc...

I feel like your 4th might feel left out if they don't get an S name like their brother and sisters, but at the same time, it's better to choose a name you LOVE as opposed to a name that's just okay but starts with your theme letter.

For boys, I think most of the best options have already been suggested. Good luck!
