I don't care for Seren , (probably because I know someone awful with that name, though) it's no where near half as lovely as Sabrina

Seren is very pretty and was on my list for a while, but Sabrina has such a joyful sound to it that I love. I would have chosen Sabrina.

I can't see how a name that is only in usage since the 1950's can be considered a timeless classic?? Sabrina is pretty and sophisticated enough, but a timeless classic is Elizabeth, Margaret, Anne, Katherine...

Both names are pretty. I find Seren more interesting, though. I agree that you could save it for a second daughter!

I would have picked Sabrina. I think it's brighter and livelier, and easier for people to figure out the spelling/pronunciation than Seren. (I never know which syllable is stressed - sah-RENN? SAIR-inn?)
