    What about ...

    liesl?

I like it even if it's not very popular here.

I think it is pretty cute! I love the sound of it, though not the spelling so much.

I like Liesl! I find the -el suffix really endearing, as in Ansel, Gretel, Liesel/Liesl. Plus I'm partial to l's, and love the how the name is framed by them. Maybe people can't shake the Sound of Music association? Or the spelling Liesl looks too foreign? I think it's eye-catching.

I like Liesl! I used to think it was too tied to The Sound of Music, but it's not a bad association. Liesl is so dainty and pretty, and would be a great double-barreled name; i.e., Liesl Rose, Liesl Maeve, Liesl Wren, Liesl Fleur, or Liesl Neve.

I keep reading it as Lies with an exclamation mark. Lies!! Not a fan.
