    New Name Crush! Feedback?

What do you think of the name Fergus? I like the possible nickname "Gus", and I like the name as a whole.
I particularly like it in a sibset with Kay Wells (g), Thora, or *possibly Heather??? Honestly, I have never thought about Heather before, but I feel like Fergus and Heather is a sibset!?
What is your first reaction? Middle name suggestions? Sibset (particularly brother) suggestions?

    Thank You!

Love it! Knew a Fergus through work in Ireland, he was great. Gus is a fun, down to earth nickname. I'm not so great with middle name combos, is your daughter's middle a family name?

My friend had a Scottie dog named Fergus, so that's my association with the name and I can't picture it on a real person. I prefer August/Augustus/Augustine/Augusten with the name Gus. Fergus isn't my favorite name but it isn't terrible.

I like Fergus! The nn Gus is adorable too. The only issue I have with the name is that to me it has distinct Irish/Scottish feel. I think it makes a little difficult to find sibling names to go with it that aren't Irish or Scottish. I think names like Finn and Maeve go well but names like Benjamin and Annabelle don't.

    Middle names for Fergus:
    Fergus Niall
    Fergus Sullivan
    Fergus Elliot
    Fergus Gabriel
    Fergus Euan/Ewan
    Fergus Lachlan
    Fergus Liam
    Fergus Oliver
    Fergus Owen

Yes, the (hypothetical) Kay Wells is after my grandmother, Kitty Wells.
