Why does it seem everyone likes. ?.
Nevaeh (backwards does not equal same meaning.)
Atticus (all I jear is Attic)
Arcadia (all I hear is Arcade)
Sawyer (too surname)
Hermione (I can't stand when people use this! I'm obviously a fan of Harry Potter, but I just don't get why people like Hermione so much. )
I don't get why people start talking about names they flat out dislike instead of names they just don't get.
Names I like that I don't get why everyone else dislikes

I've probably missed off some, but these are ones that I can think of off the top of my head:
Alice (I used to hate this, but then started to love it, and have gone back to disliking it now)
Lillian (I much prefer Lily or even Liliana)
Cormac (it's really popular on Nameberry but I just don't understand it, it sounds like a brand of toothpaste to me)

I'm sure there's more but right now I don't get why people like August so much. Augusten/Augustine/Augustus - the GUH turns me off, it is a sound that I associate with gut or gutted.
Annabelle to me sounds rather trite and sort of goody-goody, a cutesy name for a girl, and an "old aunt" name for a grown woman. But many people seem to love it. I don't get it.* My name is Adelaide. I love to play with names.*Saffron Jane Calliope - Seraphine Mariah Rose - Rhiannon Noelle - Rowan Mazarine - Oswell Constantine - Maceo Alexander - Lucas Balthazar - Israfel Ronin - Paul Constantine - Malcolm Ephraim
