    Is Sylvia the next Sophia??

Trying to think of a name for my third baby, a girl. I love the name Sylvia, but am hesitant because i'm afraid it's going to get wayyy too popular (right now it's in the low 500's) and that puts me off. My first daughter's name is Evelyn, and it took a few years but now Evelyn is #20.

Trying to choose between Sylvia and Gwenyth -with that spelling.

    Thanks for any input!

No. Sylvia won't be the next Sophia. The names share sounds, but other than that they have nothing in common. To be honest, I think a lot of modern parents would think the Sylvia sounds too old. It's not my style, but I love it with Evelyn. Definitely use Sylvia! I'm not a fan of Gwenyth, neither spelling.

The potential is there, but I don't think it's likely.

When I read this title, I though... What?

No, it probably won't be next Sophia, even thou they share sounds.

I doubt Sylvia will be the next Sophia. Sylvia and Evelyn sound great together, although I love Gwenyth/Gwyneth too.
