Och, oh, no! Amelie Claire is beautiful, too! I've started liking Amelie lately, but I had no clue what I would ever pair with it--and Amelie Claire is just lovely. My best friend was an Amelie Marcheline.

Do you want something with that same light-and-airy, delicate, chic French vibe? Something along the lines of these seem to fit, imo:

    Aurelie
    Elodie
    Odette/Odile
    Clemence
    Anabelle
    Juliette
    Leonie
    Estelle
    Camille
    Violette

I think these also sort of have the same vibe:

    Esme
    Georgia
    Helena
    Penelope/Poppy
    Daphne
    Caroline
    Katrien
    Therese/Theresa/Tess(a)
    Isabelle
    Imogen
    Tabitha
    Rowena
    Winter
    Juniper
    Hazel
    Matilda
    Magdalene/Magdalena

    Good luck!

I had this happen to and it's such a bummer!

What about Emory Claire or on of my favorites Bellamy Claire? Bellamy has so many great nicknames (Belle, Bella, Elle, Ella, Ellie, Emma, Emmy, Amy)

Hm, mayhaps Sylvie, Cecily, Verity, Emilia. Or move Claire to the beginning and go with Clara.

    Sylvie Beth
    Cecily Jane
    Verity Kate
    Emilia Hope
    Clara Joy

    Amaya
    Thierry
    Marcheline

Although hope your boy really ends up a boy!
Love love talking names... my 'style' is more classic but I do love some surprising choices too...
