    I think it stands alone just fine, but I feel like you'd constantly get 'Eliza?" to which you'd constantly have to respond with 'no, without the E. Liza".

    I think it's a stand-alone name, though you may have the issue of people saying "Lee-zah" instead of "Lie-zah" because of how close it is to Lisa. Makes me think of Liza Minelli.

    A girl on my soccer team is named Liza and when the refs check us in they always pronounce her name wrong. Lisa, Leezah, and others. I do think it works as a full name though.

    I think it works fine as a stand alone name, but it's heavily associated with Liza Minnelli.
