Girls Names You Probably Shouldn't Love, But Do?

Lately I've been falling for almost every name off the SSA lists from the 1890s (some I just can't love, like Fannie or Margaret), and that includes some of the big clunkers that you'd never expect on a birth certificate after 1929.

I imagine I'm likely alone in admitting that I love some of these names (and to be honest, I'm not even sure I WANT to admit that I like/love some....), but, are there any girls names you probably shouldn't love, but do? I don't seem to be as afraid to confess to liking the boys names that I like, but for some reason, the girls names seem to make me nervous, haha (which is odd, as some of them have very accessible, modern nicknames).
    haley/happy birthday to me/officially nineteen.

Girls: Doris, Georgiana, Amelia, Lillian, Edna, Clara, Minnie, Mabel, Arabella

Boys: Matthew, Christopher, Daniel, Louis, Ernest, James, Joshua, Harrison, Henry

~no matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world~

In experience, the ones I'm most nervous about admitting, actually, are the popular ones on NB. Imogen gets the ''too Nameberry'' comment a lot which I hate, why is it even a negative thing? We have good taste round here, evidently . Also it's very popular in my area; I'm not being pretentious I promise! Same with Jemima, even Clementine/Cordelia.

On the more GP side of things I guess the clunkiest ones I like are; Millicent, Doris, Edwina, Myrtle, Dolores (oh Dolores, I'm 100% in love with this but wouldn't use it ever, maybe if my future daughter's father is Spanish!), Virginia. And then there's Bay, Bess, Buffy, Bunny, Bibi, Scout... probably too cutesy even for me, maybe I've been on NB too long! Geraldine and Gertrude are probably the 'clunkiest' on my list but I adore them for personal reasons.
    olivia, seventeen, obsessively maternal.

★ close to my heart / future darlings; ★
    Estella - Oona - Margaret - Imogen - Billie - Eilidh - Jemima
    Emmett - Eoghan - Wilf - Alec - Nicholas - William - Hugh

The popularity comments don't bother me in the slightest, it's the names that everyone says 'I'd feel sorry for a little girl named that' that I get a bit nervous about I have Doris and Bessie on my list, and, I do love Millicent and Myrtle. My worst is Mildred though - the only connection I have is Worst Witch, and I always used to beg and plead with my mum to watch it with me - it just makes me a bit nervous to confess about liking it, because it's on the '50+ Names To Make Your Teenager Hate You' list that was posted on the NB blog not long ago, haha.

I think Virginia is nice btw - it's my mum's sister's name. She's almost exclusively called Ginny, but my nana does call her Virginia from time to time. I believe her full name is Virginia Claire Rosemary.

I have LOTS of girl names I love but shouldn't! Some of them are doubtful as girl names but I like them for girls and not a boy.

Sinclair, Adaline, Avery, Sinjun, Willoughby, Sequoia, Tallulah, Jezebel (I've wondered if I am the only one on earth who thinks Jezebel is an awesome name), Cerulean, Calliope

I think my clunkiest are: Almandine, Dominadora, Claudine, Auden, Adelaide
    * My name is Adelaide Skye. I love to play with names.*
Mazarine Frances Noa nn Mazzy - Saffron Jane Calliope nn Sas - Noa Calliope Rose nn Noey - Seraphina Frances Olivia nn Sara, Fia, Raffy - Rhiannon Holly Noelle nn Rhia, Annie, Nonny - Rowan Stella Mazarine nn Rosie - Oswell Constantine - Irving Balthasar - Balthazar Lucas - Israfel Ronan - Walter Zephram - Alfred Constantine - Malcolm Ephraim
