I LOVE Kitty! I know little twins Kitty and Daisy who are adorable.

It's fine on its own in my opinion, but I think any Catherine diminutive works as a fuller form, my choice would probably be Catrin.
    olivia, seventeen, obsessively maternal.

I love Kitty on its own (my little sister has a friend named Kitty, and I adore it. Kitty's pet cat is also named Human, which is very sweet.). However, if you don't like it as an independent name, how about:

    Kitt / Kit
    Catalina
    Cataluna
    Catherina
    Catriona / Katrina
    Momo Flora
    Dossie Roland

I think it works for any feline...not so much for humans.

I've always liked Kitty as a nick name for Katarina.
