    This or That?

Okay, so I am not expecting, just going through my lists, because I am a list freak . I have noticed that I have a lot of names that sound quite similar (or similar enough for me not to use them both). Which one do you prefer, essentially? You can list why if you like, but you don't have too. Thanks.

Forest or Frost (I love these for both girls and boys)
    Ferelith (g), Frederica (g), Francesca (g), Franklin (b) or Fenella (g)
    Maxine (g), Magdalena (g), Minerva (g), Mingus (b) and Mab (g)
    Amadeus (b), Arthur (b), Athena (g) or Artemis (g)
    Abner (b), Agnes (g) or Albus (b)
Esmeralda, Elspeth, Emerald, Elke (el-kee) or Elva
    Elva (g), Elke (g) or Enzo (b)
Alma, Alva, Alba or Elva (all g)
Domino, Dominic or Dominga (all for girls)
    Rosemary (g), Roland (b), Roald (b), Ramona (g) or Rowenna (g)
Petra, Pilar, Plum or Paloma (all g)
Olive, Olympia or Odessa (all g)
    Otis or Otto (both b)
    Theodora or Thalassa (both g)
Gardenia, Galilee, Galilea or Galatea (all g)
    Valentine (g), Valentina (g), Valencia (g), Van (b) or Viggo (b)
Banjo, Beau or Bodhi (all b)
    Walter or Wolfgang (both b)

There are more, but these are the main ones that I am worried about. Thank you so much.

    Francesca
    Maxine
    Arthur
    Albus - great literary namesake
Elspeth - always admired this one
    Enzo - it's such a fun name
    Alba
Dominga - sounds the most like a girl's name
    Rosemary
    Paloma
    Olive
Otto - Otis always felt like a dog name to me
    Theodora
    Galatea
Valentine - I like this girl or boy, especially as a MN
    Beau
Walter - Wolfgang's cool, but still too much for me
