I want to say I like Franca better but it doesn't seem as right as Franka to me. I pronounce both Frahnk-a / Frank-a.
I had no idea the name was popular anywhere. How interesting!

Just looking at the names I feel like something is missing. Maybe it's how short the names are? I don't know, but I do like the names as they feel a bit exotic. The Franca spelling looks nicer in my eyes as Franka is just Frank with an A. In regards to pronunciation, I pronounce both names as frank-uh.
    just a confused teenberry.

Short names do have a tendency to appear incomplete or give the impression that something is missing. I like that the names are a bit more exotic as well.

    Thank you!

I prn it fran-ka, not frank-uh. There is a difference, but it is pretty subtle . I personally prefer the Franca spelling, as it removes it from being just Frank with an 'a'. I'm glad you like the suggestion of Franca, and you could actually spot it in that big mumble jumble I posted (sorry- I was really tired). Have a great day!

I loved the suggestion! If I were to ever use Franca or Franka (it's quickly moving up my list) I'd for sure pronounce it FRAN-ka, like Francesca minus the middle bit.

    Thanks again!
