    Fenton's procedure

Hey I had a baby boy in March and was just wondering anyone has had a Fenton's procedure on an episiotomy scar?
I didn't have an episiotomy but torn quite badly and have been left with a very uncomfortable scar so am booked in for the procedure in August and wondered if others have had it and how they healed afterwards?

    Thanks

Hi Ms. Coriander. Such a lovely herb by the way - one of my favorites.
I've never given birth nor had anything like this, but I wanted to say hi and send a little support your way.
May I ask: How did you end up with such a difficult scar? Big baby? Fast labor? I'm terrified of tearing - yikes. Is the scar less sensitive than the surrounding tissue, or is the issue mostly with narrowing? Is there a chance of losing sensation or creating more scarring with this procedure? Have you tried perineal massage (not that that would necessarily solve anything, but might help a bit)? Do you have a great surgeon? Sorry I can't be of much help... Wishing you luck and hoping you find someone to talk to who can relate.
