    Elsinore for a girl. It's the location of the action in Hamlet and a magical mix of Elizabeth and Eleanor. I would never use it for a real child though.

    Similar to Sherlock (which is great!), I also like Sherwood (as in the forest).

    Kipling (as in the author of the Jungle Book stories)

    Salem (despite the witch trials)

    Keynesian (as in economics)

    Lysander (my favorite boy's name, which I don't think is crazy at all, but my husband does)

    For girls:

    Rachel (naming my daughter after myself, Not to honor myself, but to share the name I love so much.)

    Andromeda and Cassiopeia! I love astronomy, and the nicknames Cass and Andry wouldn't be as much a burden. They both seem far too ostentatious, even so...
