    Aemon or Amon??

    Hi berries,

    Wondering what others think of the name Amon (could also be spelled Aemon), pronounced Ay-Mon? Still trying to brain storm boys names that might work with big sister Julia and last name Peterson. Thanks for any input!

    I would stick to the Eamon spelling. Amon and Aemon just look off to me. You said that you're brainstorming, so here are a few ideas for Julia's brother.

    I love this name, but the correct spelling (to me) is Eamon. I don't like your other spellings at all. Eamon to me is strong, masculine and has a great deal of character. He could be a scholar or an athlete. Great name!

    Eamon is a great name. Amon I'd pronounce like Ammon, Am-mun. With Julia, I'd expect something quite a bit more common, though.
