    I say Mar-ga-ret, but that's because it's how my grandmother has always said her name. I think a cute little pet name would be Pearl, and I like Maisie as a nickname.

    I say it more like Mar-gret. (definitely like "net" and not like "pit" but will two syllables.

    I say Mar-gah-ret, with 3 syllables. I think Margaret is a sweet name, classic but not boring or overused and Maggie, Maisie, Greta and Mamie are lovely nicknames.
