Hello all I'm new here. My name is Jayne and I have a 10 year old daughter named Raven. I am currently unexpectedly 28 weeks pregnant with my second child. We don't know this babies gender and aren't really sure where to go name wise.
My top 5 girl picks are:
DH top 5 girls:
My boys picks:
Declan (the name of her first boyfriend when she was 6)
What do you all think of the name choices? We were quite unprepared. After several miscarriages over the last 8 years we just thought that Raven would be our only blessing.
Thanks so much everyone.

My favorites would be Aspen (I like that both your name & your daughter have an e n/ n e at the end, and it would be nice if you all matched
And Eli &/or Colin for a boy. Colin & Raven sound very nice together.
Also Scarlett and Raven would be a little matchy, but cute matchy-could also use Amber for that same effect, but I like Scarlett much, much more. Plus they're both grownup, rich colors.
I think Raven is such a gorgeous, mature sounding name that I felt like a Hayley, Emmalynn or Ryan would be too young to match it.
Congratulations & best of luck!

One girl from each list:
Favorite girl overall:
Definitely-by-far Molly. It's a sweet name, not too trendy or popular, and offsets Raven really well.
One boy from each list:
Weston (actually Ryan, but it's awfully close to Raven)
Favorite boy overall:
Tougher, because I like both Emmett and Alexander. Emmett hits that sweet spot of not being too trendy or popular and offsetting Raven, though.
Overall, I really prefer your name taste to your husband's and daughter's. Everyone had nice choices, though. I have to advise against Kayden and Kaelyn, though. Not attractive names, in my opinion.Trying in earnest for our first this winter

We don't know what your husband's name is, but with
Jayne & Raven
Delaney Aspen - nn Lainey
This would still give you an "n" sound within the name, without overdoing the family's "n" endings.. plus, you will have then combined both your favorites.
You have an innumerable amount of combos from all 3 of your boys lists! My favorites are: Bennett, Colin, Nicholas, Alexander, Samuel, Weston. Try:
Matthew Alexander / Matthew Weston
Samuel Bennett/ Samuel Colin / Samuel Alexander
Colin Nicholas / Colin Bennett
Ashton Myles (I prefer the spelling Miles tho)
*Have you ever thought of the name Corbin for a boy? it actually means "raven" and goes along with your "n" endings and seems to run along the same style as your name list.
