This or that with names from my list.
I have a large name list and much of it is filled with names that could never be used together because they sound so similar. I would love to get feedback on which name you prefer from each pairing (and a reason why would be wonderful if you feel like it! ).
Arden or Arwen?
Annika or Annora?
Avery or Eleni (prn. Ah-LAY-knee)?
Bronte or Bryony?
Carys or Clarisse?
Delaney or Connelly?
Ezri or Ezria?
Iva or Ivy?
Marilla or Marcella?
Rowena (prn. roe-WEN-ah) or Ramona?
Sarai or Ryland?
Sylvie or Vivienne?
Vera (prn. veh-ra) or Verity?
Eleazar or Lazar (prn. lah-ZAR)?
Hugo or Gable?
Shale or Marcel?
Gable or Hazel?
Ezra or Ezri/Ezria?
Thank you in advance – I really appreciate the input! Not expecting, just planning and building lists!

Avery (Eleni can be pronounced with a soft e Eh-lehn-nee so you might have trouble getting the pronunciation you'd like)
Bryony (Bronte sounds masculine to me)
Delaney or Connelly (neither-- I dislike both)
Ezri or Ezria (neither)
Marcella (while I like Marilla, it's very Anne of Green Gables)
Rowena (I really like this name, but I pronounce it with a hard E)
Sarai (Ryland is a boy name to me)
Verity (it will be hard to get people to pronounce Vera the way you'd prefer)
Eleazar or Lazar (prn. lah-ZAR) (neither-- I prefer Elias or Lazlo)
Marcel (Shale sounds too made up to me)
Gable (boy) or Hazel (girl)
