I love both Oakley and Douglas. It's a shame Douglas is generally unpopular on Nameberry, as it is such a handsome name with cute nicknames (Doug, Dougal).

I hope Douglas becomes more popular. After not noticing it much before, I recently fell in love with it. I like Dougal and Donegal and I love that it is the name of a tree. The name feels green and strong and manly to me.

Douglas, but I think of it as a water name, since it means "black water".
