I like Finley/Finlay and Liam equally, but with Archer I much prefer Finley. As for the spelling, Finlay has always felt more feminine, while Finley looks masculine. No idea why, it's just me, I guess.

    I prefer Archer Liam.
I like Finley (even though my feelings about the spelling are the exact opposite of polina's) but not so much with Archer.
Look-wise I like how Archer and Liam aren't the same length while Archer and Finley are.
Sound-wise I find the transition from -er to Li- easier than from -er to Fi-, might just be me though.
I also like the light sound that the "a" in Liam adds to the combo.

Thank you, polina and opheliaflora. Thank you, everyone, for the votes so far.

Opheliaflora, I always find it interesting what combos and names cause people to get tongue tied. I think Tallulah and Petula are so spunky and fun but they are such tongue twisters for me. My Gabbage Patch's first name was Petula, so I called her by her middle name. Archer Finley/Finlay rolls right off my tongue.

Archer Finley is definitely not hard to say. I think Archer ends more in an -a than -er sound when I say it, which somehow makes the transition to Li- easier. However, when I make Archer end in the -er sound, Finley is the easier name to follow
