I actually like Sunny, but I don't want both names to begin with the same letter. I also like Beatrix, but worry that it is too long and classic to pair with Scout, though it is a bit quirky. I have only known males named Avery. Hm.
    Beatrix - Fleur - Minnow - Zelda - Fern - Winifred - Poet

    Wolfgang - Atlas - Huck - Abraham - Ernest - Ulysses - Fox - Alasdair

Hehe, must not sound too feminine to you then. Must depend on where you live, because I've met a couple of little girls named Avery, but I've yet to meet a guy with that name.

Good luck, hope you find that perfect name!

I like Plum a lot! I wouldn't use it myself but I'm not sure why - I would love to see it on someone, maybe it's that it doubles as a fruit so I use the word more than I do some other flower names. Fern feels more wearable, maybe because it's more familiar as a name.

Some botanicals, inspired by Plum, Fern, and Fleur:
Sage (probably too unisex if you wanted to go girlier this time)
    Blossom
    Marigold
    Posy
    Juniper
    Maple
    Lavender
    Lilac
    Flora
    Hazel
    Girls:
Nickname-able: Susanna, Johanna, Paloma, Lucille, Harriet, Beatrix, Rosemary, Juniper, Marigold, Annabeth, Gwendolen, Kathleen, Tabitha
Short and to-the-point: Flora, Jane, Laura, Anne, Cecile, Susan, Kaia

    Boys:
So much easier: Hugh/Hugo, Wilfred, Basil, Augustin, Edmund, Arlo, Timothy, Frederick

I could see Rowan with Scout.
