I was going to say this too. The lyn ending is matchy in itself, but these are also the same # letters, with only 2 being different.

I don't think Evie and Addie are too close at all. Evelyn and Adalyn do sound close, but I think it could work, since the emphasis is on the first syllable of the names.

some suggestions for the nickname Addie:
    Aderyn
    Arden
    Adamyn (from Adamina/Adamine)

What about Adriann Delaney? You get Adi and the Adelaide sound.
    Olivia/Livia/Livy/Liv : Thessaly/Darah/Bethel : Noelle/Eve
    Benedict/Eli: Jude/Zane: Luke/Darius : Levi/Phineas/Calvin

Evelyn and Adelyn are so close, so are Evie and Addie. They are almost interchangeable when you yell them quickly. Too close for my comfort.

    Some with nicknames:
    Gwendolyn nn Gwen/Winnie
    Kirsten nn Kiki
    Lillian nn Lily
    Marin nn May/Mari
Tamsin (for a twin!!! Perfect opportunity!!!) nn Tam
    Rosalyn nn Rosie/Rose/Rosa

    Without obvious nicknames:
    Morgan
    Carmen
    Gretchen
    Haven

I think Lillian Adelaide, Tamsin Adelaide, or Marin Adelaide are my favorites, but really Adelaide goes nicely with most names that end in N.

What about having the nickname Ada for her, instead of Addie?

I do think Evie and Addie are too similar. But if you love it, go for it!!

So are Evelyn and Adelyn. But if you are okay with that they make cute sisters!!

Even the suggestion of Addison with Jackson seems too close.

Some other names similar to Adelaide:
    Adalee
    Adeline
    Adelia or Adalia
    Adele or Adela
Happily Married Momma to Two Sweet Girls
    Expecting Number Three December 2014
