I Prefer Caspian but both are lovely boys names. I dont really see Cas as a nn for Nicholas tho, how about Nico?

I love Caspian (not Cas) but it works really well! When I say Nicholas, it sounds almost exactly like knicker-less, which has put me off the name; blame my accent. :P

I'm all about the unusual nicknames, but Cas doesn't quite work for me with Nicholas. The letters are there but the sounds aren't: Nicolas sounds like nih-cole-lus, not nih-cole-lass. At least not in my accent. The nickname would have to sound like Cuss instead of Cass for it to really work. :-(
