    Nicholas nn Cas? or Caspian?

Does this work, in your opinion? It's an important honouring name for me, and it's suddenly really appealing in the first spot with nn Cas which I adore.

Or do you prefer Caspian? (also I adore Casimir but it lacks the literary reference and is too heavily Polish, especially in the UK - to contextualize, it would be like a non-Hispanic child in the US named Diego or Jorje)

I think Caspian is more interesting but Nicholas is a great name. Personally my favorite was Casper nn Cas, but the husband doesn't like it.

I cannot see Cas as a nn for Nicholas.
It works wonderfully for Caspian, although I prefer Casper as a nn for Caspian.
Have you considered Caspian Nicholas nn Cas?

Nicholas and Caspian are both very handsome names. I like Caspian; a strong, spunky name but I love Nicholas.

I can see it working. I would never guess a Cas to be a Nicholas, but why not? All the letters are there. I like both names, but I'll vote Nicholas since it's an honor name.
