Edward --> Ed --> Ted (the same way you also get Ned) --> Teddy. It's a little bit of a stretch but I've definitely seen worse!
I don't like -leigh names either. At least Kayleigh is the legitimate spelling of the name here in the UK though.
Really Nevaah not Nevaeh? It's not even Heaven spelt backwards anymore!Alfred | Arthur | Bartholomew | Ephraim | Frederick | Isadore | Ozias | Rupert | Sherlock | Victor
Antonia | August | Damaris | Eliza | Esmeralda | Marceline | Matilda | Ramona | Tahlia | Trudy

I can't see much difference either, but then I'm not American so perhaps that's why!
Kevin and Christopher, I don't think I would be that surprised to see this lot in a preschool today! I love Sarah and Katie and Laura. Reminds me of little 90s girls in tartan dresses
I live in a very rural area when there was/is very little 'migration', so most of the kids I went to preschool with (late 90s) ended up with me in sixth form, 15 years later!
I remember: Daniel (Dan), Lily, Christopher (Chris), Perry, Luke, Jacob (Jake), Jessica, Michael (Mike) Jimmy, Amy, Aqua, Jodie (x2), Jack (x2), Jennifer (Jenny), Lauren, Danielle, Holly, Lucy, Megan, Francesca (Frankie), Shannon, Joshua, Leah, Sasha and Bryony.
Several 90s names there

Perry!!! !“There are women named Faith, Hope, Joy, and Prudence. Why not Despair, Guilt, Rage, and Grief? It seems only right. 'Tom, I'd like you to meet the girl of my dreams, Tragedy.' These days, Trajedi.” - George Carlin
